Terms of Service

These terms apply to everyone who uses the Setadeal website. By creating an account, posting a job, applying, registering as a supplier or sending us a message, you accept them.

1. Accounts

• You must give accurate information and keep your password safe.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

2. Jobseekers

Your profile, qualifications and credentials must be truthful. Match scores are an automatic guide based on what you and employers enter; they are not a promise of an interview or a job. Hiring decisions are made by employers alone.

3. Employers

• Post only real, lawful vacancies that you are authorised to fill.
• Never ask candidates for payment to apply, interview or be hired.
• Use candidates’ data only to recruit for the job they applied to, in line with data protection law.
• Do not discriminate on grounds protected by law.

4. Suppliers

Registering does not guarantee work. We review credentials and may approve or decline any registration. Each event engagement is governed by a separate agreement or purchase order.

5. Corporate events

Proposals, quotes and bookings for events are confirmed in writing for each event, with their own prices, payment schedule and cancellation terms.

6. The Setadeal Assistant

The assistant answers questions about Setadeal automatically and may make mistakes. Check important details on the relevant page or with our team. Fair-use limits apply.

7. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site: no spam, scraping, fake profiles, malware or attempts to bypass security checks.

8. Liability

We provide the site “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for the conduct of employers, jobseekers or suppliers who meet through it.

9. Privacy

How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions? Use our contact form. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
